About Jasmyn

Hi! I am a rising sophomore at the University of Florida studying to become a pediatric speech therapist. I graduated high school as salutatorian with a 4. 8 GPA and my AA degree. I am attending UF on a full-ride academic scholarship and am the recipient of the Hispanic Heritage Florida Scholar rewarded by governor Ron DeSantis. I am not taking any summer courses, so I am looking for a part-time tutoring position for the summer. I have experience in -Language Arts -Spanish -Math (College Algebra, Algebra, Statistics) My ACT test score was a 28, with a 32 in reading and 29 in grammar. English, Writing, and Reading are my strong suits. I have served as a reading and english mentor to children with learning disabilities for 5 months at an afterschool care place called Girls Place located in Gainesville, Florida. I also served as a reading mentor through the YMCA in Lakeland. I have extensive experience with tutoring younger children (elementary school) but am open to older ages!
