Though I've been a hairstylist for over 15 years, I spent much of the pandemic online-tutoring many of the kids whose hair I'd been cutting. I had so much fun learning new things about these kids- some I'd known for years- through creative writing. I was lucky to have great English and writing teachers who encouraged me to explore and improve my skills and because of that, I've developed a strong command of words and ability to express my thoughts well on paper. I would be delighted to share my writing skills with young people, creatively and academically.
