About Jasmine

Hello! I'm Jasmine! I am currently employed fulltime, but open to babysitting nights and weekends! I have nannied for years for kids aged 2-8, have experience as a teacher in a UPK classroom, currently working on getting my CDA certification. I have experience teaching reading skills at various levels, potty training, and encouraging healthy eating. I have a passion for fostering problem solving skills, and turning every experience in life into an opportunity to encourage critical thinking and independence. I follow a 'gentle parenting' philosophy and focus on validating feelings and teaching coping skills. I pride myself on finding ways to make learning fun and engaging, and I'm definitely not afraid to be silly! I love going to the park, arts and crafts, playing pretend and answering every 'why?' question a kid can throw at me. I think I'm usually having as much fun playing as the kids. I offer plentiful feedback on your child's development and activities.
