I have never worked in a daycare. However, while I was a supervisor at Cambridge Hospital, which is a psychiatric hospital here in Houston, I worked and volunteered often on the child and adolescent floors. I implemented learning games with the younger patients, from 2 -10, and for ages 11-17, I worked with on their school work and planned activities to build the social skills for the youth. I am currently pursuing a degree in Child and Family Development. I want to work for a business that will help me get the skill to fulfill my ultimate goals in Child and Family Development. I have care for a child with epilepsy and a learning disorder. I provided close attention and administered her medications. I prepared and cooked her meals. I especially enjoy working with kids that need that extra attention.
