I am a certified Special Education teacher at Guthrie Public Schools. I have my Bachelor's of Science in Psychology with a minor in Child Development from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. I have volunteered everywhere in the children's ministry at my church from a Sunday school teacher, one on one with special needs in classrooms, to filling in last minute wherever is needed. I have worked with children and young adults with ASD, ADHD, Angelman's, Down Syndrome, and Speech Impairments. I have worked closely with Occupational Therapists and Speech Therapists with four years of experience. Prior to teaching, I was a Habilitation Training Specialist (HTS) for six years. I know that God's plan for my life is to work with kids with special needs.
