About Jasmine

Jasmine has been an incredibly important part of our family for five years. She is looking for another position as our family sadly no longer needs full time care, and any family would be lucky to work with her! Jasmine is a skilled, experienced, thoughtful caregiver who takes the time to listen to and get to know the children in her care, noticing and supporting their needs even when they cannot verbalize them. Jasmine has cared for both my children since they were babies, and she is equally great with infants, toddlers, and older kids. Jasmine can fulfill all an infant’s needs while also gently guiding a toddler with the firm and loving boundaries they need to feel safe and to grow. Jasmine is also a great communicator who is eager to collaborate with parents to ensure that kids are getting all their needs met. With her background as an early childhood educator, Jasmine has taught my children their numbers, letters, shapes, colors, and important routines like cleaning up after themselves (our home is always tidier at the end of the day than the beginning), washing hands, and even potty training. Jasmine also actively teaches kindness, and is always there with a listening ear and a calming word when my children are upset. She takes safety very seriously and I know they are always safe in her care. We are all really going to miss her.
