After speaking with Jaqueline a few times regarding my job posting for a housekeeping position she responded to, we set up a time for her to come and start and I marked her as hired. Unfortunately, she was unable to make it and did let me know as much, but then no other communication was given after that despite my numerous efforts to get a response back on when she would be available to start. It is completely understandable that things come up and circumstances change for people, but communication is key. I guess it just wasn't a good fit, though I may never truly know. Hopefully other people will have better luck hiring her in the future. I wish her all the best.
