About Janne

I'm a natural homeschooling mother of two wonderful kids ages 4 and 8. I'm a devoted practitioner of conscious parenting and nonviolent communication and extend these principles to any child in my care. I'm energetic, curious, creative and love being outside in nature with children, as well as supporting kids in following their passions and interests. As the mother of a neurodivergent child I'm skilled at meeting children where they are, communicating limits with love, and offering loads of scaffolding to help children thrive. I had the pleasure of assisting and mentoring with a well known gentle parenting coach for over 5 years, and have a deep understanding of child development, neurodivergence, childhood anxiety and the brain-body connection. I'm looking for a perfect-fit situation with a family who is philosophically aligned with my approach to accompanying children, and a schedule that still allows me to be present for my own kids. At this time I'm open to part time employment.
