I have spent the past 39 years raising my own 7 children ( the past 14 as an only parent after the death of their father). My youngest is currently 19 and living at home while in College part time. While raising my own family I also did child care in my home. I have cared for many children over the years including several newborns. I would say my specialty is newborns and preschoolers but have worked with children of all ages. I am organized, reliable and honest and have a true love for children. I believe in getting kids outside and staying active. I am open to a full background check and have completed the required course for Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED. I will be happy to provide references upon request. I have a reliable car and am willing to do light housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal prep and any running around needed to get children to activities, school etc.

Jan took care of my children over the summer and was so thoughtful and caring. She was great with getting my kids out for exercise and fun which was exactly what we asked her to do. She is very good with nutrition and helped ensure my kids diet was healthy (Jan cooked dinners for us and she is a great cook too!) Best of all she stayed engaged with my kids every day - they loved her. Extremely reliable, puntual, and had great communication. I would highly recommend her to you for your family's nanny needs.
