About Jan

As a caregiver with 34 years of experience working with kids, I discovered my passion lies in nurturing and supporting children's growth and development. My journey began teaching school where I realized the positive impact I could have on children's lives. I'm a patient, calm, and kind individual who believes in open and respectful communication with parents. I keep them informed about their child's day and promptly address any issues that arise. I adapt to the parents' preferred communication form, ensuring they're always in the loop. Regarding household rules, I follow the parents' lead and ensure consistency in their child's routine. I enjoy kids, taking them to the park, the library to I enhance their learning experience. I'm comfortable caring for two children and have experience working with kids ranging from infants to 8-year-olds. While I don't have a college degree, I hold some college education and I am well-versed in child care practices. My goal is to give Mom a break.
