Hello I'm Janine. I've worked with both adults with children with special needs. My experience with adults with mental illnesses was working in a group home setting and taking clients on outings to develop their life skills. I have also been a special education teacher for elementary and preschool students. I have been certified in ABA, autism spectrum, PECs, LIPS, sensory integration, Vocca technology, and other language disorders. Over the years, I have worked with a variety of disabilities. I specialized in crisis prevention, learning disabilities, autism therapist, speech/language disorders, and mental illnesses. As a retired educator I am willing to assist with the care of special needs infants and adults. I no longer can care for a client needing transfer care or intense physical care as I have physical limitations. I am willing to assist your family with knowledge and care, not so much with the physical aspect. Thank you for your time.
