As a childcare provider with a deep-rooted passion for nurturing the growth and development of young minds, I bring a patient and friendly demeanor to my role. I believe in open communication with parents, ensuring their preferred method is followed when discussing their child's day or any concerns that arise. I am comfortable adhering to established household rules and enjoy engaging children in various activities, from outdoor games and puzzles to educational games that foster learning. With First Aid and CPR training under my belt, I prioritize safety and well-being. I can assist with carpooling, travel, and swimming supervision. Professionally, I am retired from the American Red Cross after 34 years. I was a CPR and first aid instructor, former EMT and have served on a Critical Incident Stress Management Team. Personally, I have raised 2 children and have helped to raise 3 grandchildren as well. I am excited to bring my experience and knowledge to your wonderful family.
