About Janine

As a mom of three children--one college-bound and two teens, I work full time and am looking to tutor students outside of my work schedule. My career is in curriculum supervision in a school district and I enjoy working with students, which is something I don't get to do at work. My personality as engaging, willing to offer solutions and listen, and approachable. I've devoted a career to teaching and learning in schools. Tutoring allows me to impact small groups of students and be able to customize instruction. I like to spend quality time with my children and family. I host Sunday dinners, a family tradition that I hope to pass on to my children. I enjoy being outside, reading and music is a part of my household regularly! My skills include customizing a tutoring plan for students. Tutoring isn't just about helping students with their assignments but it is about being able to assist them in becoming independent when approaching content-related tasks in the future.
