With hands-on experience at People Inc. and Home Instead, I have worked closely with individuals facing mental and physical disabilities, providing compassionate, person-centered care. My role involved assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's, dementia, physical impairments, and age-related conditions. At People Inc., I supported individuals with IDD, autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other conditions. My responsibilities included daily living assistance, personal care, medication management, behavioral support, and community integration. At Home Instead, I provided in-home care for seniors with dementia, Parkinson's, mobility issues, and chronic conditions. My duties included companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transportation. I have developed expertise in patient advocacy, behavioral management, and crisis intervention. My passion is creating safe, supportive environments that empower individuals.
