Hello, my name is Janice. I love children. I grew up taking care of my younger brother and the smaller kids in my neighborhood. Before I knew it, I was taking care of almost every child on my street at some point during the week. Through my older teenager years, I volunteered for a disabled children's group during school breaks and developed more of a passion for child care. I enjoy arts and crafts, reading to children, board games and outdoor activities. I believe that children should not be kept in front of a television for too long, but rather, find other methods of entertainment. I have done housekeeping and have no problem running errands for the families I work for. Also, I love pets and can help take care of them as well. Along with hourly pay, a cab home must be provided once working past 8 p.m.

We hired Janice during the pandemic to help with our school-aged children while we worked from home. Janice was a life-saver during a super stressful period for all. Our boys were 4 and 9yo at the time and they loved her! Janice helped them manage remote school and planned plenty of fun activities to keep them occupied. She was punctual, professional, patient and kind. We continued to hire her for occasional babysitting once the children returned to school. We highly recommend Janice to work with children of any age.
