About Janice

I'm passionate about caring for children and helping them grow and develop. With 35 years of experience as a registered nurse, I also have First Aid and CPR training (not currently certified but up to date with cuurent trends). I have a graduate degree and am comfortable caring for children of all ages, from infants to preteens. My family nick-named me Nanny Janny when I was in my 20's because of my great desire to care for my nieces and nephews. I am patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I love playing outdoor games though not great at sports, board games, and educational games with children. I believe children have the capacity to learn abundantly and use all sorts of opportunities to teach. I'm also comfortable enforcing household rules, and I always follow the parents' lead.
