I am a sophomore majoring in Special Education. My passion for working with children with disabilities stems from my childhood expose to a family friend with Autism. My mother was an in-home Applied Behavior Analysts for Sam and also an in-home preschool teacher. As we grew up, I became both a friend and babysitter for Sam. In high school, I was a Special Olympics and volunteer. At my high school, I was also part of the student mentor program that paired up a student with a disability to one without. These experiences helped shape my passion for this sort of work so much that I have chosen to dedicate my life to it.
