Hello Long Valley Community, I am a dedicated dementia care provider with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals in their homes, including a decade of personal care for my own mother. With the recent passing of my last client, I am now seeking to assist a new family. My skills include personal care, medication management, coordinating medical appointments, meal planning and preparation, facilitating outings, following through on exercises from physical and occupational therapy, and light housekeeping. Experience with Hoyer lifts, transfer boards and other modes ways of getting your loved ones out of bed. I have developed a strong ability to navigate the challenges that arise at various stages of dementia, fostering trusting relationships with both clients and their families.
