I live near downtown Des Plaines and I am a mother to 3 adult children ages 23, 25 and 28. They are all Niles North graduates. I have nannied long term for 3 families. My first family was 2 twin little girls. I began working for the family when they were 2 years old until they were full time students. (Right before they turned 7). My 2nd family was a little girl. I began working for the family when the baby was 6 months old. She is now starting 1st grade and will be in school full time. My most recent family is a family with 3 children ages 5, 8 and 10. I have been with them for just about 4 years and now the youngest will be starting first grade full time. I love seeing the little ones bloom into their own little personalities and own characters. I love seeing them grow and learn new things.

I hired Janet, initially, as a temporary caregiver for my newborn daughter. She was about 6 months & I was so nervous to experience someone caring for her but Janet ended up bringing so much peace to our home & my daughter fell in love with her. She was pivotal in the transition from nursing to bottle feeding to table food as well as potty training. She helped us maintain a tidy home & ran errands when needed like a quick trip to the grocery store. She allowed me the freedom to be ok with taking a break while being a full time mom & wife. I’m so very grateful for her & wish her all the best.
