She got to the point where she didn't know our names, but knew we were "her people". Helped her with ADL's. In charge of medications (ordering & administering), bathing/dressing, feeding & meal prep. I cared for my 98-year-old aunt, provided companionship, ran errands (did her grocery shopping, bought clothes, ran errands, etc.) Cared for men and women in care. com: meds, meal prep, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, hospice, grocery shopping, transportation, housework, laundry, dishes, Hoyer lift, wound care, ADLs, companionship - just being a friend, taking walks, personable, making people feel safe. I have a 1-year-old granddaughter and a 18-month-old grandson that I love to spend time with. Love dogs. We have a Standard Poodle, a Goldendoodle, and an Afghan Hound who think they are humans.

Our family was so lucky to connect with Janet in our time of greatest need. Over 8 months, she was there for us at every opportunity possible and consistently went above and beyond to help me care for my husband. She was so patient with and kind to my husband while he struggled with severe dementia, including feeding him, administering medications, cleaning him in the bathroom, and walking beside him to ensure he was safe at all times while he paced for hours around the house. Janet brought light and laughter into a home darkened by my husband's disease. While my husband has passed, Janet has become family and will remain in our lives for years to come.
