I am an experienced caregiver / STNA with 10 years experience. Currently I am working 2 days a week for my client who had a stroke. I have been with her for 1 1/2 years. The stroke affected her right side. I assist her with daily exercises and walking w a cane. Transfers. Her balance is not stable and I am there to make sure she is safe and doesn't fall. Assist w meals, laundry, housekeeping. Hygiene. Dressing. My client owns a cat. I feed the cat and give fresh water. Daily maintenance of litter box. I have experience working for 2 years with a Parkinson's client. Paralysis of hands / arms. Walking is very unstable and always assisted with balance. Assist with showers / bed baths. Feeding. Light housekeeping. Laundry. Meals. Errands. Also, assisted past clients who had health issues. My experience with them includes those who suffered with severe COPD on oxygen 24 x 7 , dementia, confusion, mobility issues and other aging related problems. References Available
