About Janet

I've always loved caring for children, and I have two amazing kids of my own, 3 including my wonderful daughter-in-law. I also have a granddaughter who is the love of my life! I moved to Boston to become a live-in nanny for five years. I've been the kitchen manager at an elementary school for 12 years. I am a student mentor and I teach before and after school enrichment classes to students. I'd describe my personality as warm, kind and caring. I like working with kids because I enjoy making a positive impact on their lives. I'm looking for a job that is flexible as I work full-time. I started working with kids when I was young and did a great deal of babysitting. In my spare time, I like to read, cook, travel, knit and spend as much time as I can with my family! One thing you should know about me is I really enjoy helping others! My skills include having decades of experience caring for children, I am CPR certified and my greatest joy in life is being a mom and now a grandma!
