I've worked in a school setting since 2016. I have watched many kids age groups vary from 3-16. I have experience in homework time as well as having that time in an after school program. I have helped kids with math/english/science/comprehension before and also during COVID where I was nanny for two children for two years starting from kindergarten and second grade to 2nd and 5th grade. I have plenty of experience with my own siblings at home and the homework they bring home. Although I've never had an actual tutor title I very much have a ton of experience.
