I am Red Cross CPR first aid and AED certified for Pediatric and Adults. I worked as an Assistant Teacher 2016 to 2019 under the DC Board of Education and Office of the State Superintendent of Education before going off into the government section in 2019. I have provided care professionally for 6 weeks to 13 years of age. I have been trained in cognitive, social and emotional development. I also focused on language and physical development. I teach self help and Adaptive Problem Solving skills . My youngest student 9 months of age can determine the difference between four colors at a time. Working with Children gives me peace. I'm blessed to say caring for kids comes easy to me. I truly care for children and make sure they are safe which is my #1 priority Currently as of 2024 I am a 6th grade Teacher for the state of Maryland. I am a student at the University of Maryland College Park working on my Masters in Economics.

Janel was cheerful, fun, and energetic, and our son loved being with her. She followed his sleep and hunger cues well and was careful for his safety. She also played games with him, read books, sang to him, and matched his energy level well. She has training and experience in childcare, and it shows. It was clear that she enjoyed taking care of our baby.
