Hello! I'm a recent college graduate that studied psychology & pre-health in school. I would like to be an Occupational Therapist someday & with that, I have a lot of experience in volunteer/ paid work in a variety of areas. I'm a certified mentor for ASD & i'm also certified in mental health first aid. I spent my last two semesters caring for a young adult with Ring Chromosome 13 Defect. Her dependency was high & with that I helped her with all her functional everyday activities (work, walks in the community, eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, stimulating activities, etc.) I have also been around cerebral palsy a little bit, so I am at least familiar with it. I love helping those that need it the most, while still encouraging as much independence as possible!
