About Janel

Hello! I'm a middle child of 5! I grew up taking on caregiver responsibilities as a big sister but I also worked in childcare at my church and as a fulltime nanny. I have my bachelors degree in Nutrition and I'm currently getting my masters at the University of Mn in Nutrition! I LOVE kids and was a private nanny for many months working with a 7yr old girl and a 9yr old boy. I was responsible for cooking, driving them to their various activities, and running errands. I like working with kids because they have such a creative perspective on the world and they remind me how much I need to slow down and be grateful for what's around me. I started working with kids when my younger brothers were born :) In my spare time, I like to spend time with my fiancé! He is going to school to be a doctor and we are college sweethearts :) One thing you should know about me is I'm reliable, communicative, and trustworthy. My skills include time management, routine, and playfulness!
