About Janel

I'm an honest, patient and compassionate woman who has worked in senior care for over 15 years. I previously worked as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and Assisted Living Administrator where I was able to connect with many residents and family members. I also enjoyed working with the staff to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of care. Prior to working in Administration I served as a Human Resources Manager, social worker, and hospice care. I believe deeply in encouraging activities that are meaningful and provide purpose. I'm very active and love to be outdoors, but also happy to meet patients where they're at. I have lots of training in dementia, personal cares, transfers, medication management. With a Masters degree in Organizational Management and a Masters in Counseling, I am great with companion care but am also bring a high level of knowledge in helping families navigate facilities as well as what it takes to age in place.
