I'm Jane K. a North Reading resident for 25 years, married with two sons and have a Bachelor of Science in Health Education & Science. I am CORI checked because I worked for the past 8 years as a paraprofessional at an elementary school in North Reading, but stopped last August due to the pandemic & I'm fully vaccinated now. I have a lot of hands-on experience caring for the elderly. My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease at age 70. I witnessed and assisted with the classic stages for 13 years. My 88-year-old father had a stroke and went from living somewhat independently at home to being a resident to Memory Care Home in Reading. My personal experience dealing with aging loved ones has been challenging and rewarding at the same time. I understand their needs and have compassion and patience. I can provide safety and companionship.
