About Jane

Hi! My name is Jane and I live in Apple Valley. I have been a caretaker for the past 4 plus years. Prior to being a care taker I was a substitute teacher both long and short term in grades K-8 for 12 years. I have become aware of the important needs of our seniors as both my own parents got older and had more needs and needed more help/ guidance . I became aware and saw the importance of being active and engaged with others. Through my caretaking experience I feel there has been a mutual benefit for both myself and my clients. They are all special people. I have enjoyed each experience. The duties that I have taken on include: cooking, cleaning, helping with bathroom needs , diapering, bathing, giving meds, paying bills, grocery shopping, taking on errands/appointments, pet care, PT exercises, going for walks, companionship, hospice care and keeping 100% communication with the families. I have worked with MS, Parkinson's, strokes, Alzheimer's/ Dementia. I have references !
