About Jane

I am an art teacher currently in between jobs and am looking to pick up some extra work over the next few months. For the past three years, I have taught in special education and independent schools (grades 6 - 12) in Philly. Before moving to Philly for graduate school, I was living in Chicago and nannying for a few different families. I spent several years working as a nanny and babysitter, and the children I took care of ranged in age from 6 months to 11 years. My favorite things to do with children are creative; I love to draw and paint, do crafts, cook and bake, and read aloud with them. I take a very gentle approach with kids, and really try to meet them at their level. I am able to provide homework help, remote learning support, tutoring, and/or art lessons in addition to childcare.
