As an RBT for the past 5 years, I have worked with children from ages 2-14 years old, on the Autism Spectrum. I am an extremely patient, fun and empathetic caregiver. Neurodivergent children are filled with so much love, creativity, wonder and curiosity. I've been grateful to experience live through their special lenses. I am aware that some behaviors are more challenging to understand than others and I am comfortable to assist in that position. Many of my clients have a wide range of maladaptive behaviors. Including aggression, self-injurious behaviors, stimming, tantrums, screaming, etc. I am have adopted many protocols to lessen these behaviors and witnessed steady decrease of maladaptive behaviors overtime. Leading to increased communication, alternative behaviors, understanding, and overall less stress for the child as they feel more at peace. I love this professional and look forward to improving their quality of life.
