My son has special needs and Janai cared for him every weekend and many weeknights for over 12 years, from ages 14 to 26. She saw to all his toileting needs, bathed and shaved him, cut his nails, fed and clothed him. She made sure his sheets were clean and his surroundings were tidy. Janai took my son on many errands and numerous social events. She managed his medications and prepared his lunches for the following day's school or day program. Recently, he moved to his first supported-living residence and Janai still visits him of her own accord. She will always be a part of his life. Janai is extremely loyal, dependable and resourceful.
