I've lived in Brooklyn for six years, pursuing my career in development and partnerships for non-profits. I work full-time and am earning my MBA from CUNY, so I am only available for occasional date nights and weekends. I have been babysitting since I moved to the city for various families who still call me, but my experience goes back to high school. The kids I generally sit for range from 5 months to 14 years old. I tutored for 3 years, so I can help with any summer/school work. I love doing crafts, reading to kids, playing outdoors (my favorite game is Red Light, Green Light), can swim, and love board and video games for those rainy days. I don't mind doing light housework such as cooking for the kids, doing the dishes, or doing laundry. I have two younger brothers, so I am a natural-born babysitter who doesn't mind getting dirty, playing catch, or changing diapers.

Jana is the best! We have been working with her for over 5 years for the occasional date night. Our kids are obsessed with her because she is so much fun. She is smart, reliable, trustworthy and a really wonderful person. She has watched all three of our kids since they were babies and we always feel like they are safe and well cared for when she is over. We can't recommend her enough.
