Experience: 10 yrs
For over 20 years I have cared for children. I started as a babysitter in high school, became a nanny in college, worked at a boarding school as residential staff after college, and become a mother in 2016. My responsibilities included the following: managed and cared for children in employer's house. I organized and involved children in activities such as games, crafts and reading. I planned and prepared meals for the children. I took children on educational outings, field trips and to scheduled practices. I maintain constant supervision of adolescence. I dispense, record, and administer medication. I kept up with and purchased full inventory of grocery items/meal preparation. I actively participate in a wide variety of physical activities. I am comfortable with children of all ages as well as most pets. I enjoy reading, arts/crafts and field trips with the kids. I have four children of my own and when they are not in school they will be with me.

I am writing this review in the month of Jan year 2015. Jamie will be leaving us soon (March 2015) because she will be moving to Georgia. My wife, my two children and I are extremely sad she has to leave us and in the same vein very happy for her to begin her new life. Words cannot do justice to how much of a blessing she has been to our family which is why I will leave my number on here (as much as my brain is warning me of all the spam I may potentially receive) for anybody who'd like to personally talk to me. I know how stressful it is for parents to find a good nanny and a trustworthy one but I can 100% assure you if you choose Jamie you will not want to let her go. She has worked for us for over a year now and we will sorely miss her. She has gone from being our nanny to genuinely being a part of our family. We really wish she did not have to move. Her communication, reliability, dependability, punctuality, trustworthiness, confidentiality, judgement, hygiene, safety and overall effectiveness was everything we paranoid parents were looking for. She is likable, nurturing, enthusiastic and above all loving to our two children. She helped prepare meals for our kids, read to them, played with them and on snow days or really cold days - created some form of activities for them. You may probably wonder what are her negative points. I can sincerely say she was everything we could have asked for and as cliche as it may sound - she does not have any negative qualities. She is extremely mature and is honest and straightforward. She drives our kids safely to and from school when necessary and always wrote in our diary any notes on how the day went. I will stop here and if you'd like more information about her feel free to call me. Clayton
