Hello! For 2 years, I've cared for a child who is non-verbal with autism and viral encephalitis. My job as caregiver is as follows: Dressing, food prep, assisting in feeding, food shopping, dishwashing, laundry, giving and preparing medications, bathroom assistance, bathing, traveling with family, and assisting in teaching motor function and speech skills with therapists. Prior to this, I worked for Motherhood Maternity/Destination Maternity for 14 years where I was promoted to the corporate office in my last year. Shortly after, they went bankrupt and I was laid off. During my time at Motherhood, I also was a nanny for 2 children for 4 years. I was with them from ages 3 months to 4 years. In that time, I was promoted and had to move on from them. I have also pet-sat many times where I have cared for many pets, including staying in house for up to a week. References can be provided and I'd love to meet!
