I have been working with individuals with special needs since I was 17. I began working with students at my high school by tutoring them. In college, I was a personal caregiver, and provided personal care services to students with disabilities attending the school. In addition, I have worked at a summer camp for individuals with disabilities of all ages for the past 3 summers. The first two as a counselor, and this past summer as the camp director. I have worked with ages 5+, with diagnoses across the board. I have experience with caths (female), tube feedings, as well as aggressive and challenging behaviors. Lastly, I have lead group outings in the community with adults with disabilities.
