About Jamie

I have 9 years professional experience in child care. The past 4. 5 years were spent nannying for one family with two young children, though I've also been an in-home daycare assistant and worked in a nanny share setting. Starting in a daycare taught me the success of introducing structure at a young age into a child's life and as a nanny I helped incorporate routine amidst the more relaxing environment of home. I myself am very organized which helps control of the natural chaos of the day to day, though as an artist I know how to encourage play and love doing crafts with the kids. Working with kids is simply a very fulfilling field for me because I get to incorporate play and fun into my daily existence as I care for people who are full of personality and creativity and are developing into these amazing individuals. It's a gift to get to contribute to that and I hope to be allowed to become a part of another family who appreciates me as much as those I've worked with in the past.
