Hello - After five years of caring for my mother while simultaneously caring for my father for six months (separate homes), I've learned how difficult it is to navigate the aging - and dying process. I've managed the emotional rollercoaster my parents experienced - from fear to anger to acceptance. I've managed meals, errands, doctor's appointments, bathing, bill paying, assisted living facilities, legal documents, selling a home and packing up their lives. Sometimes it's just holding their hand or taking them for a drive, whatever is most comforting. I left the corporate world to put my parents first.
