I have prior professional experience caring for seniors with dementia, it was one of the most rewarding jobs I've had, most difficult but most rewarding by far! I was 17 when I worked in that line of work, from 17-19. Ever since then I find that if caring for an older individual it reminds me that they are someone mother or father and that if my mom was receiving care from someone she would want the type of treatment that I would give her, the best! The knowledge and stories that seniors have is my favorite part I could sit and listen and converse for hours, it never gets old! I hope to care for your loved one the same as I would for my own!
