I was a biomedical engineer for the state for over 20 years. When my father became sick, I left to take care of him. After he passed, I realized that this was what I wanted to do. This is where I could actually make a difference. I've been doing it for 10 years now. I have outstanding references from the families I've been with as well as a pristine driving record. I am reliable, punctual, and above all, honest. I understand how hard and weird it is to let a complete stranger into your home. Not to mention taking care of your loved one. I specialize in senior care, dementia, hospice care, and diabetes. The Lord has always placed me with the families that need me the most. That's the family I'm looking for.

Jamie is fabulous! I did a phone interview before my siblings and I invited her over to interview and meet my mom. We had a connection with the phone interview so I was hoping that we all felt the same when she came over. Our mom had a stroke at 78 years old and it impacted her right side. Also our mom is a typical New Yorker and does not warm up to just anybody. There are 4 of us siblings and we all threw questions at Jamie and held nothing back. It was very important to us that our mom was treated with the upmost respect and dignity. Mom has always been independent and we needed to know that she would talked too not down to. Her buy in was the most important thing. We interviewed 3 different people that day. The only one out mom remembered was Jamie. She came in and was very upbeat and spoke directly to our mom not around her. We hired her and honestly could not have had anyone better. Our mom was her number priority. Our mom actually asked how she was so lucky to have someone like her to take care of her. She looked forward to seeing Jamie everyday. They became very good friends and mom felt comfortable confiding in her. Jamie took her to Doctor appointments and blood draws on a regular basis. We trusted her implicitly. Keep in mind my mom was a diabetic, she was also in kidney failure and then all the stuff from her stroke. She always made sure mom had everything she needed and wanted. Jamie became mom’s 5th child. No matter how stubborn my mom could be Jamie was always able to reason with her to take meds, or allow her to give her an enema. Jamie still means the world to each one of us and we will always be grateful for her compassion, empathy, kindness, understanding and unconditional love and support to mom and us 4 adult kids.
