Experience: 3 yrs
Hi there! My name is Jamie. I'm a compassionate caregiver with years of experience working with children and providing care for individuals of all ages. I'm a Certified Registered Medical Assistant with an Associate's degree in Arts, and I'm also a BLS provider for infants, children, and adults. Currently, I'm accepted into a Bachelor's in Nursing program to further my education and skills. I'm looking for short-term PRN work where I can offer reliable, loving care. If you need someone who's experienced and genuinely cares, I'd love to help!

Jamie worked for our family from September 2022 to August 2023. During the school year timeframe, Jamie worked an average of 30 hours per week and mostly in the afternoon to early evenings. During the summer months, she worked a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. Jamie’s duties included transporting children to school and to and from after-school activities, preparing and serving meals, organizing outings, helping and supervising our eldest as he completed homework assignments, washing children’s clothes and bedsheets, and generally managing the household. Our children were 9 and 5 when Jamie began caring for them. From the moment Jamie joined our household, it was evident that she possessed a unique and natural talent for working with children. Her warm and compassionate approach created a loving and secure environment for our family. Jamie consistently went above and beyond to ensure the well-being, happiness, and development of our children, which made her an invaluable member of our family. Jamie's ability to tailor her approach to the individual needs and interests of each child was truly remarkable. She engaged our children in age-appropriate activities that stimulated their curiosity and creativity. In addition to her childcare expertise, Jamie exhibited effective communication. She kept us well-informed about our children's daily activities, milestones, and any concerns that arose. Jamie's openness, honesty, and transparency in her communication style fostered a strong and trusting relationship between our family and her. The decision to end our working relationship with Jamie was a difficult one, prompted by her son's transition to middle school. Jamie expressed a heartfelt desire to be present for her son during this crucial period of his life. While we were saddened to part ways, we wholeheartedly supported Jamie's decision to prioritize her family, a testament to her unwavering commitment to her loved ones. In summary, Jamie's dedication, professionalism, and exceptional childcare skills have made an enduring impact on our family, and I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to recommend her for any childcare position.
