About Jamie

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, creative and caring I like caring for seniors because it allows me to use my use my compassion, patience, creativity and sense of humor to enrich someone else's life. I started caring for seniors about 6 years ago as a Recreational Therapy Assistant at a skilled nursing facility. In that role, I facilitated social events and activities for seniors at all cognitive and physical levels. For three years after that, I was the Life Enrichment Director for an Assisted Living in Birmingham with 70+ residents where I was responsible for all activities and transportation. In both roles, I gained so much experience as well as amazing relationships with families and residents that I still maintain today. In my spare time, I like to play with my dog Lenny, spend time with my family, make art and walk at the zoo.
