About James

I love the way kids see and experience the world. Being able to provide them with the means to fully explore who they are, what they are capable of and who they want to be helps me to fully understand myself. I started working with kids when my younger brother was born. I realized my passion for caring for other children when I started working as a birthday party manager. In my spare time, I like to hike, read, volunteer and dance to live music. Also like to explore (whether in the wilderness or under a pillow fort), find joy and laughter in the places you wouldn't expect, and participate in the things larger than you or me. My skills include finding the fun in every situation, perfectly balancing the fun with safety and healthy boundaries, and endless patience to talk through anything from the mysteries of the universe to why we can't have two desserts. One thing you should know about me is I am always giving 100% no matter the circumstances.
