About Jalissa

With over four years of dedicated experience in elderly care, I began my journey as a volunteer at Masonicare in Newtown during high school, where I assisted with bingo nights and patient care. This initial exposure ignited my passion for working with seniors. I then joined the Kennedy Center, where I expanded my skills to include care for disabled adults in various settings, including group homes, at-home care, and day programs. Throughout my career, I have provided one-on-one support, cherishing the deep connections formed with each client. The rewarding nature of this work has not only enriched their lives but also taught me invaluable lessons through our conversations. I am deeply committed to enhancing the quality of life for those I serve and continue to find joy in every interaction.
