About Jalina

Hi my name is Jalina. I have 6 years of childcare experience including of 3 years of teaching and directing youth theater from ages 4-17, and 6 years of nannying and babysitting ages infant to 16. I'm great with kids and animals, have a reliable car, first aid and CPR certified, as well am epi pen and inhaler administration certified, and am good at creating an engaging and safe environment for kids to do homework, crafts, and relax. I enjoy building rapport and relationships with the families I work for. I'd describe my personality as joyful, creative, and responsible. I like working with kids because they are fun, creative, and see the world through an authentic and interesting pov! I started working with kids when I was 10 as a mother's helper to family friends. I started babysitting by age 12 and nannying at age 17. My skills include helping children manage their emotions in a productive way, being good with children with special needs, and good at building trust and rapport.
