About Jalene

I have been working with children for 5 years. My most recent job was a Registered Behavior Technician, having the privilege to work with children with autism. I have learned how to engage and teach children, catering to their personal needs while ensuring they are having fun. I am very calm and open- minded; I have fast reflexes and very good intuition that allows me to make fast, smart decisions when needed. From dramatic play to puzzles to outdoor games, fun is like second nature to me. I feel very strongly that a child should always feel they belong and are loved in every room they enter, I do my best to ensure that. As for personal details, I am a student at The University of South Florida as a behavioral health major and psychology minor. My goal is to be a trauma therapist working with individuals across their lifespan. I love building legos, any art activity, and being surrounded by nature. I also am a military child providing me with an excellent sense of resilience.
