About Jakiya

Greetings! My name is Jakiya and I'm a Nanny with a passion for nurturing and supporting children's growth and development. With 7 years of dedicated experience and over 20 satisfied clients in Atlanta and Kentucky, complemented by 4 years of education at the University of Kentucky, I possess a strong foundation and understanding in early childhood development. I specialize in infant/toddler care, with expertise in caregiving for ages 6 mo. - 5th grade. My services include handling groceries & plant-based meal preparation, light housekeeping, schedule management, and establishing an immersive Montessori-inspired setting with interactive activities that foster a reduction in screen time. Additionally, I am open to providing support the family on travels. I am comfortable with pets and prioritize a safe, smoke-free environment. I am fully vaccinated and hold CPR & First Aid Certification, to ensure the utmost safety and preparedness.
