About Jakel

Hi! I am a college student focusing on psychology of behavior. I have always wanted to work with children. Being the oldest sibling and oldest cousin, I have always been the family babysitter and I take pride in being a resource and caregiver. In my free time, I like to hike, hang with loved ones, cuddle my two cats, try new restaurants, and do lots & lots of homework. As a nanny, I enjoy creating crafts and educational activities, playing outside, dancing around to music, and baking/making treats and snacks. I am very hands on but love to incorporate Montessori learning. I'm comfortable with multiple styles of sleep training and potty training. I also offer light cleaning, can run errands, and meal prep. I'd like to add that I have years of experience with children on the Autism spectrum and would love caring for someone who needs extra love and patience. Currently looking to do summer care and/or provide care on date nights/weekends. I hope to hear from you!
