About Jaimie

Hello! My name is Jaimie, I am a teacher at Hal Peterson Middle School in Kerrville and I absolutely love working with kids! I have my Master's Degree in education and have spent many years working as a nanny before graduating and starting my career as a teacher. Any children I look after I treat and love as if they were my own, and still have great connections with families I have worked for previously. As a teacher, I love educating kids and helping them grow into young learners as well as inspiring their creativity and imagination. I am a strong advocate for less screen time and more time engaged in play, learning and the outdoors. I have experience working with newborns through teenagers. I sculpt, love to stay active, tutored for many years, and an animal lover! In my years of experience I have been responsible for bringing children to school/ play dates/ doctors appointments, grocery shopping, meal preparation for the family, laundry, and teaching to name a few!
