About Jaimelyn

I'd describe my personality as fun, loving, and nurturing. I like working with kids because I love to see the world through their eyes and I want to be a positive role model for the young ones growing up in a difficult world! I have a 12-year-old son, a 14-year-old daughter (who also loves kids and wants to work with them when she's older), and an 18-year-old son who is graduating high school next month and working full time. I started working with kids when I was in high school. As a younger child I was the neighborhood babysitter, then during my child development class my junior year I learned of a children's crisis center. I worked there for 3 years until I moved into working in schools. In my spare time, I like to paint, do crafts, swim, hike and play outside My skills include teaching, I homeschooled all three of my kids until high school. Arts and crafts are a big hobby of mine, I love to get the children engaged.
